My Guide
At TLL, you’ll be assigned to a House Guide, who will serve as your mentor throughout your time at TLL.
They know your goals, your struggles, and what you're working toward.
Guides aren't just teachers. They're the person in your corner.
Once a week, you'll meet one-on-one with your House Guide. For thirty minutes, you’ll work together to map out your week and talk about your progress.
“I am surrounded by other humans, in terms of teachers, instead of robots that are responsible for hundreds of learners that don't really have time for a specific one. ”

Guides are your mentors and champions. They help you build your TLL experience and ensure you thrive.
Every Guide also specializes in a subject area.
When you're stuck on a tough Pre-Calc problem, you’ll get support from your math subject Guide.
When you want to think through big ideas in the book you're reading, you can talk to your English subject Guide.
“Having had the privilege to work both on the private and public side of education across four continents, I can safely say this is the most progressive, forward thinking school I have ever been a part of. ”
